Shepherd’s Pie
INGREDIENTS: Potatoes Salted butter 1/3 cup of milk Cheddar cheese Onion Green chili Mixed vegetables Minced meat All-purpose seasoning Paprika Italian herbs Ground ginger Garlic granules Oyster sauce Tomato purée Chopped tomatoes
– Dice 1 large onion
– Dice green sweet pepper
– Cook minced meat until brown and add mixed vegetables
– Once water has evaporated, add diced onions and pepper
– Add all seasonings (all-purpose seasoning, paprika, Italian herbs, ground ginger, garlic granules) and stir.
– Add tablespoons of oyster sauce (optional)
– Add tomato puree’ and leave to simmer on low heat
– Add one can of chopped tomatoes and combine everything.
– Peel 6 potatoes and wash, then add to boiling water with salt and oil. Leave to boil till soft
– Once potatoes are soft, drain it and add salted butter, 1/3 cup of milk and cheddar cheese and mash
– At the base of an oven tray put mince stew and at the top add mash potatoes and cover all the sauce
– Add mozzarella or cheddar cheese at the top
– 220 degrees for 20 minutes in the oven

Garlic Honey Chicken
Chicken breast 1 tsp salt Garlic powder 2 tsp corn flour Black pepper Curry powder Chicken seasoning Lamb seasoning Chilies Parsley Soy sauce Garlic puree Honey
– Wash chicken breast with lemons
– Dice chicken breast
– Start frying chicken until it looks cooked
– Add 2 tsp of salt, garlic powder, 2 tsp of cornflower and black pepper. Combine all ingredients.
– Add curry powder, chicken seasoning, lamb seasoning, chilies and parsleys and stir.
– Leave it to fry until it is well cooked and it has all been infused.
– Add soy sauce, garlic puree’ and honey and stir.

Corned Beef and Potatoes Pie
INGREDIENTS Pastry: 400g plain flour 200g pastry butter 1 tsp salt 1 tsp grated nutmeg 1 egg (egg wash) 1 onion blended with 100ml of water into purée Filling: 1 tube of tomato purée 1 onion 1 sweet pepper 1 green chili Garlic powder All-purpose seasoning Potatoes 400g corned beef
The filling
– Start by frying cubed onions in oil, add green chilies and red peppers and fry together
– Add tomato puree’ and fry
– Add garlic powder and all-purpose seasoning and combine all
– Add 400g of corned beef and combine till it’s infused in the sauce
– Add cooked diced potatoes and mix gently without mashing it
The pastry
– Measure 400g of plain flour
– 200g of pastry butter
– Add to the flour all these ingredients (1tsp salt, 1 tsp grated nutmeg, butter) and mix by hand until it has a sand consistency
– Blend 1 onion with 100ml of water and gradually add to our mixture until you get a nice dough
– Spread some flour on clean surface and add 1/4 of dough. Use a rolling pin and roll it out.
– Find a circle shaped item in the kitchen and use to cut your circle (this will be the size of your pie so choose wisely)
– Once you’ve got your circle base, add filling to the center and close pie
– In order to ensure it doesn’t open in the oven, add a little bit of egg wash on the edges and press it down with a fork or finger
– Continue this until you have no more dough and filling. This recipe should give you about 10 meat pies depending on the size of your circle
– Make an egg wash and cover all pies with it with a cooking brush
– Put all pies on an oven tray
– Put in fan oven on 220 degree for 30 minutes
