Crab Rangoon’s with Pom Pom Sauce
Of course, I had to try the appetizers, and the crab rangoons at Thai Orchid were absolute perfection. Lightly fried to golden-brown crispness, they weren’t heavy or greasy at all. But what really set them apart was the Pom Pom sauce—a little tangy, a little sweet, and so addictive. I could’ve easily made a meal out of those alone.
The Pad Thai That Hit All the Right Notes
For my main dish, I went with the Pad Thai with shrimp and scallops it also comes with squid but I got mine without. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the seafood was so fresh it practically melted in my mouth. I got mine with a little spice, which added a nice kick, but I’ll be honest—I could have gone higher on the spice level. Next time I’ll definitely turn up the heat, because if you love spice, I have a feeling their higher levels will not disappoint.
Even with the spice level I chose, the dish was flavorful, balanced, and downright delicious. Shrimp + scallops + Thai noodles = heaven.
